How can we support startups in integrating sustainability into their business development from an early stage?
Recent findings from a Master’s project indicate a need for well-defined, tailored, and easy-to-use tools and frameworks to help startups and incubators integrate sustainability into practice. During this webinar, we will share approaches to implementing sustainability in early-stage ventures. We will introduce Karolinska Institutet Innovation's three-phase approach to sustainability implementation:
WHY (learn)
WHAT (identify and prioritise) and
HOW (act)
We will also present a newly developed support tool currently being tested with startups in life science. The tool is designed to help life science startups and incubators identify relevant sustainability topics, prioritise areas for action, and develop practical action plans. We will share insights and learnings from the initial testing of the tool and discuss how sustainability support can be integrated into existing incubation and innovation processes.
